A really popular tomato based side dish that will compliment any curry. This is hearty and heavily spiced with a little chilli kick. For a great variation to the normal addition of potatoes, this dish can also be made with other vegetables, such as cauliflower, aubergine and spinach.

Instructions
Cut 3 medium sized potatoes into cubes and parboil. Heat 2 tbsp of oil in a pan over a low heat. Add the spices to the oil and stir until fragrant. Add the parboiled potatoes to the pan and coat in the spices. Add a 400g tin of tomatoes along with 100ml water. Add the onions and garlic and stir. Simmer until your potatoes are cooked through, then serve!
